Blossom Bracelet

Regular price $32.00

Our Blossom Bracelet is the perfect combination of Ankole and beading.  This bracelet is delicate yet also stands out with a simple pop of color. We love this bracelet paired with our Blossom Necklace or studs.

Each bracelet is made with love in Kampala by a survivor of human trafficking who loves working with Ankole and is proud to have it represent their country to the world.

Ankole is a natural product known for unique and beautiful variations in color ranging from ivory black to creamy white. Like fingerprints, no two polished pieces are alike. When you purchase from our Ankole Line, you’re empowering girls and women seeking freedom and helping to ensure a sustainable local economy in Kampala, Uganda.

This ethically handmade bracelet supports young women escaping human trafficking in India, Uganda, Mexico, and the Philippines. Each artisan receives fair wages, education, health care and community through our non-profit, International Sanctuary.

    PURPOSE Jewelry Care Guide:

Important Jewelry Care Note: Polishing your gold or silver plated jewelry will remove the plating from the piece. Only use a polishing cloth for your pieces that are 100% brass and are not plated.

How to care for plated jewelry

Plated jewelry is identical to a piece that would be entirely made up of a precious metal but does require more care to allow for the piece to not lose its plating.

    • Apply perfume, hairspray or deodorant before wearing your jewelry as certain chemicals may damage the finish.
    • Always remove your jewelry before swimming, bathing, doing household chores or using abrasive cleaners.
    • If your jewelry requires further cleaning, use mild soap, water and a soft cloth. Rinse with clean water and pat dry.
    • Make sure your jewelry is completely dry before storing.
    • To avoid black markings on your skin or the jewelry, be sure to regularly clean.
